I'm a pixel art specialist. I produce environments, characters, user interface, brand identity and animation for video games. My favourite part of making art is imagining a world and seeing it come together.
I chose pixel art because it's beautiful, simple, complex and it defined my childhood. Emerging in the 1980s, pixel art evolved with computer graphics. Since the decline of Cathode ray televisions, pixel art was mostly categorised into a bygone era until the indie gold rush.
We have moved past the stigma of "retro revival" and "cheap game art," it's accredited as an art movement and is here to stay. I'm in pursuit of being a master of modern pixel art in games; requiring a deep understanding of art principles, patience, game production experience, inspiration and passion for quality work.
My passion for visual communication has guided me through years of successful project outcomes at every turn of my career. The accumulative production experience I've gained is not something that a typical solo artist has exposure to.
I'm a trusted person who focuses on quality completion. This work ethic continues to impress people I cross paths with, resulting in a lot of referrals through word of mouth.
